A Modern Interpretation of the Traditional Hunting Dinner Service
Watercolors of forest and game for a contemporary hunting dinner service: Piqueur's nature motifs were developed in 2011 as watercolors in shades of gray to evoke associations of forest life alongside hunting game.
The watercolor-like décor is created with gray pigments in a multi-layer ceramic silkscreen. The resulting serigraphy is applied by hand to the high-fired porcelain with a transfer medium and fused in a second firing at 1250°C. Consequently, the shades of the motifs stand out clearly.
As one of our print collections, Piqueur is robust, durable and easy to care for. This makes the collection suitable for the home table and ideal for use in hospitality. We recommend placing a cloth between pieces when stacking to preserve the delicacy of the decor.
The illustrious decor makes Piqueur an excellent choice for furnishing a contemporary hunting service, but equally allows it to be freely combined with our bisque collections Velvet, Pulse and Cielo.
